Young's already played a more convincing innings than anything Hopkins managed in India.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
The score flatters Pakistan. McCullum and Guptill were both out to brain explosions and Ryder was extremely unlucky. Barring the first spells the bowling hasn't been great.

Showed plenty of promise in Australia too, even if he didn't get the scores he may hoped for. He's 20 years old and has plenty of potential, and imo, should have been persevered with. He won't be consistent at such a young age and with the cavalier style he possesses, but the best way for this lad to learn is by playing Test cricket, the benefits will be there in the future. I don't always necessarily think that's the best for young players, but he has not looked out of his depth at all or overrawed.

If he was identified as a very talented batsman and one for the future then stick with him for me, unless he gets to a point where he cannot buy a run.
Lacks a brain, though. And is a prick with a punchable face, as pointed out previously.

How is Williamson batting here?

Guptill. :@

Shocking stuff in the second session, but sadly predictable. C'mon Kane, shame these over-hyped losers into a better effort next time round!

Taylor's recent form has been awful, hasn't it? The more I see him, the more he reminds me of a slightly less talented Pietersen, you wouldn't see him grind his way to a big knock when he's out of form, poor form only seems to make him even more determined to play his shots.

Bit of Umar Akmal in him. He hasn't matured since he has been in the side.

Disagree entirely. Has ground out plenty of runs before while looking in a poor run of form.
