On the contrary, Gambhir is probably the third most watchable player in the Indian team for me after Dravid and Sachin and hands down hits the most beautiful boundaries in the world.
Dravid watchable? Have you been in a cave for the last three years?

Yeah, not the present Dravid who looks terrible until he bats himself in but the Dravid of 96-07.Only just behind Sanga and Tresco in the aesthetic stakes for me.

What happens if Dhoni promotes himself up the order and blasts a quick 100 here? Would India go for the win say if they need 100 runs off 15 overs in the end?

More to the point, Laxman is arguably more watchable than any of them.

I think I'd go Sehwag-Sachin-Laxman-Gambhir-Pujara-Dravid.

Haha, not for me. His height and his strokeplay don't match and make him look pretty ungraceful, IMHO. I do hate watching Sehwag bat too, I'm just weird though. :p

SA should try winning some home series tbh.
Indeed. South Africa have undoubtedly played the better kallisball over the course of the series, but Test kallisball doesn't work like that. I'm sure India would've been happier with 1-1 at the start of the series than South Africa.

It's painful to watch his sad attempts at dealing with Dale Steyn in South Africa.

Love when he gets going, but it's not actually that unusual not to.

Sachin will be more watchable batting for a draw than Laxman.

But Laxman arguably overall.

I think Harris is making an excellent case for a callup for Imran Tahir....
Leg spinners are not effective against India. Some other team, sure, but SA shouldn't make a mistake and make him debut against India and lose confidence.

Another failure for Sehwag...really disappointing...He will forever have to live with the criticism of not being able to perform in South Africa..and rightly so.. 1 half century in 6 innings for someone considered to be one of the best batsmen in the world is just piss poor.
