Hard to get excited for this series apart from Younis and Taylor I will not pay to watch any of these guys.

Reckon Pakistan's bowling vs the NZ batting will be a gun contest, but NZ bowling vs Pakistan batting will likely be a competition of who fails less.

Meh, Pakistan's bowling isn't really much better than their batting anymore, if at all. It's not Asif, Amir and Kaneria anymore. Their batting certainly performed better than their bowling in the UAE against South Africa, albeit on roads.

Nah NZL will make a lot of runs in this series then only bowler I rate from Pakistan is Gul and that too as a supporting 3rd seamer rest of them are below international standard.

I want Williamson to have a gun series.
Be interesting to see how he plays in NZ conditions. I am picking McCullum and Taylor to be the best performing batsmen and Southee and Vettori the best bowlers. Think it will be a close series tbh but both teams are unpredictable to say the least.

Hope NZ gets to bat first. Its not exactly Steyn/Morkel entertainment when the NZ bowling attack is in operation. Younis Khan should be a treat to watch though.

I reckon Wahab is a good bowler.

Hmm, me thinks McCullum & Ryder will be our best batsmen & Martin with probably take most wicets. Vettori normally does ***-all with the ball in NZ conditions if it's not Bangladesh doesn't he?

Somehow i think Ryder will be get injured . Vettori bowled pretty well in the warm up game against the Pakistan batsmen. Its weird he actually was the leading wicket taker in the India series and he hardly looked threatening tbh,

He bowled well in Indian, averaged early-mid 30s from memory, which is no mean feat against their batsmen, but I was specifically meaning in NZ conditions against a half-decent batting line-up. I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, thinking about he has probably bowled worse at home than away tbh. Guess we will have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

Bowls 145 ish when he's in good rhythm. So not quite. He's that type of bowler though. Left arm, genuinely quick, just angling across the RHB.
Could trouble someone like Macintosh with that sort of pace. After the almost medium pacers in India.
