*Official* India in South Africa

Still feel SA slightly ahead now if Kallis is 100%; if he doesn't bat India is slightly ahead probably. In any case, it's a close call.

What would be my dream end of the series? To see Dravid carrying India towards a series win with an unbeaten century in the 2nd innings.

Seems like a weird dream right now, tbh...
It was announced that Kallis would bat four in this innings. Obviously Harris (wac) has changed that, but he's due in next apparently. :)

Some good signs from Ishant towards the end as well apart from the rubbish to Harris. Managed to not look completely innocuous.

Haha, up there. What a spell from McG.

Jo'Burg 06/07, Day 2 was probs the best for me though. My hero bowling out the Saffies for 84 and Pollock taking 6 on the day(3 in each Innings). That Sreesanth performance was really something else. Even if I hated on him like all the other ****s It'd have still been one of the best I've seen. WAFG.
324 runs were scored for the fall of 20 wickets that day FTR.

Is it me or are the speed guns a bit erm "slow" in tis test match? Surely Steyn must have been serving up 150 kmph but his speed was gunned at 142-145 for most of the time.

Did he take the field during India's innings? If not he will have to spend some time in the dressing room before batting isn't it?

Something about what type of injury it is means he can bat wherever he wants, apparently.

Ishant being clocked at 85mph surely disproves that?

Yeah but if he can't field for the entire length of an innings, and yet come into bat as he pleases, something somewhere is wrong. But the law is always an ass as they say :p

I would say the game is dead even. Spin is clearly going to play a bigger role in the game and India have the better spinner and the better players of spin. OTOH SA have Steyn. I have a feeling Sachin isn't going to fire second time round; if so it's up to Sehwag and Dravid to finally deliver. Of course there is Laxman but surely even he cannot deliver a fifth crunch innings in three months.

Yeah, after all the recent fabulous chases, I unfortunately see a rather big defeat on the cards here (>150 runs). :(

He bowled as quickly as I have ever seen him. Atleast to my eyes. What about Morkel?
I don't know about morkel but 145 kph is about 90mph which is quite quick. 90mph is about the speed on which Steyn bowls when he is pushing himself. Steyn was never express in the range of 95mph like Akhtar, B Lee, or Shaun Tait.

I have to ask. What is the origin of the term Kallisball? Doesn't even rhyme with cricket
