Loss of Smith was a huge blow as he is capable of scoring tough runs but at a quick rate. Definitely India are favourites at the moment.

Big opportunity for Virus though he looks like a walking wicket against Bhaji - block, block, block, block, top edge slog sweep, block, block, block.

Given the Sehwag factor, don’t think South Africa will feel safe with anything under 300. Doubt they will get that mind.
Sehwag + 2nd innings + SA = not much to worry about. Not to mention Steyn steaming in at him with the new ball.

Maybe start by shutting down your pc?
obviously the match is too addicting

Gym? What a loser :p

Heaven forbid you have to skip something that you don't need to do anyway.

Sachin is bound to fail in second innings I think. I've never seen him following up a stellar first innings with a good 2nd innings. i might be wrong though.

i will take a quick fire 40 if we are chasing anything below 250
Especially because the fourth innings will be a race against the second new ball. Steyn and co. could blow away the bottom half of the Indian batting for very few runs with a new ball. Ideally India would like to win the game before 80 overs and a quickfire knock from Sehwag is the most likely way that would happen.

Yeah I was actually going to make this point before, but I really didn't think Steyn was putting 100% against Tendulkar. Although he was swinging the ball a lot his speed was down in comparison to other batsmen.

Not even the first 30 balls he sent down at the start of the day to him when the Indian batsmen weren't even allowed to rotate once?

2nd spell, possibly.

Sachin will Fail too!!!! He normally doesn't follow up a 1st innings 100 with a decent 2nd innings score.
20% chance of suceeding IMO.

Time for Dravid to step up!!!

The opening spell when he almost got Sachin was as good as he bowled in the second spell though. Jaffer after Jaffer. In the second spell obv., He was trying to get the tail harder than Sachin but Sachin did face some peaches and terrifically hostile bowling.

Sachin should have attacked a lot more once Bhajji went. A 30-40 run lead would have been priceless. Kallis did that in the 1st innings.

Not sure if you've all been taking me seriously or not, but I thought that until Bhaji was in Steyn was definitely gunning for Tendulkar's wicket. For a guy that bagged a 5er he was tremendously unlucky

For that quality of bowling, He deserved 11 tbf.

His most unluky Innings of bowling was the 2/60 in the second Innings of the second test though. Laxman fended off some really great balls and he got Zaheer plumb but was not given out. It was the only Innings where he had relatively 'bad' figures.

3-35,4-100,6-50,2-60,5-75. WAFG.
