Tickets to four days of awesome tennis over the next two weeks. Can't wait.

I don't have very high hopes for the Kiwis this week, though. Erakovic at her very best would beat Vesnina, but we haven't seen Erakovic at her very best for 18 months or so. And Jones,... well, she's playing Kuznetsova. Uh, good luck, Sacha.
Kuznetsova can lose to anyone "off" her day.

True. Don't think Sacha's ever beaten anyone in the top 100, though, so it would be a big upset.

The media's gone completely crazy over Sharapova. Apparently it's news that she watched our fireworks display at New Year's.

Haha, ah well, tis the way of the world.

Istomin beat De Bakker and Feliciano Lopez beat Petschner in straight sets in the first round of Brisbane. Had no idea it started today. Thought all tournaments started on the 3rd, but evidently that's only Chennai, Doha and Aukland.

Really? Never heard of him at all.

And yep you're right, was quallies. Not even first round Luchie :(

Edit: I see Berankis won the junior US Open in 07 and former junior #1. Interesting.

Haha tbf I've only seen him play once when he tore up Carsten Ball, but he's got heaps of power for a guy his size. Bit short, but killer groundies.

Ugh, awful from Marina "Errorkovic". 28 unforced errors. Worst I've ever seen her play.

The most frustrating part is that there were a few glimpses of her best form - some awesome winners and aces.

Marin Cilic... deary deary me. Such a massive fall.
Nishikori is another one of those promising youngsters TBF. Beat him at the USO as well last year. But yeah, I agree Cilic doesn't look like a top-5 player or Slam winner at the moment.

Hewitt double faults twice to lose to Djokovic in straight sets in the Hopman Cup.

Lol, that $10 I put on Hewitt at $19 after he lost the first set was money down the drain.

Quality match tbf. Some great points played by both.

Little Lleyton just can't match it with the power hitters though, decent player though he still is.

Just like spending money on a Richmond membership.

First full set of tennis i've seen this summer and I dislike Stolle (I think it was stolle?) already. The "old person" wheezing thing he does when he starts or finishes speaking sounds terrible.
