Honestly, all this review stuff is becoming a nonsense. All the review system should be for is for the outrageously bad decision. Make it one review, not two, and cut out this no-ball crap. Honestly, if it's that close then it's not a huge drama. I haven't seen this Cook incident but to me, the Prior one in Melbourne felt wrong.

Completely and utterly disagree. I'd call being out off a no-ball a pretty shockingly bad decision, but one that's easily rectified by doing precisely what the umpire did in these instances and referring it. Couldn't care less if it detracts from the fielding team's big thrill. They shouldn't have had that thrill in the first place.

If there's doubt in the umpire's mind about it being no-ball in the split second he has to make that call, far better to err on the side of caution, let the ball be bowled, and then review it if needs be.
