It is, Tremlett as lost his line and length totally, they've bowled really well all day and now there letting themselves down here. This is ****house bowling. Surely the plan to Johnson can't be to bowl short and wide outside off-stump to him?
This. It's astonishing how teams so often completely lose the plot against tailenders.I can't get my head around why teams do this, especially when they have bowled so well with line and length, this bowling seems to confuse the bowlers to be honest and why no yorkers .
Ironically whilst that criticism of Tremlett is perfectly valid, Bresnan's fault has been bowling far too well.I can't get my head around why teams do this, especially when they have bowled so well with line and length, this bowling seems to confuse the bowlers to be honest and why no yorkers .
Yes, can't fault Bres' bowling.Ironically whilst that criticism of Tremlett is perfectly valid, Bresnan's fault has been bowling far too well.
None of the English bowlers bowl a really top yorker and with the tail having a swing, could go for plenty if they try the killer every couple of balls. Also, they've got the Aussies 8 down for 230, you don't just abandon completely what got you there in the first place if it's working and you're still drawing edges.I can't get my head around why teams do this, especially when they have bowled so well with line and length, this bowling seems to confuse the bowlers to be honest and why no yorkers .
You'd think we were 8/400 based on the field settings too. You'd think we were 8/400 based on some of the comments in this thread.
He's still amazing. Is that pitch really conducive to spin or is Warney just ****ing too good?
