It's the way he's played that's been so impressive tho. Has farmed the strike and looked to score. Has nursed a real bunny to a near 50 run partnership and was on 99* when Steyn went. Now well over 150. His best, IMHO.

So why do so many sides persist with it, then? It's something that's valid in an limited overs situation, or in age-group cricket (when the other option is typically let's-all-stand-in-a-ring-and-not-stop-singles-or-fours), but surely Test sides can come up with better?

Haha my last 20 posts have been me blowing my top at how ******** captains are. I can't give you a satisfactory answer other than they're all ****.
