There must be a better way of setting fields to top-order/tail combinations than this, surely?

You see it so often; it's as if the fielding skipper's in auto-pilot, and I could swear it fails as often as it succeeds.
Fails way more.

Take Bhajji off. Tsotsobe is playing him with ease. It's putting way too much pressure on the other end where Kallis is smashing them.

Isn't that praise of the "Rudolph Hess was the cuddliest Nazi" kind tho?

Monumental effort from the great man this, tho. Might just be his best ever IMHO.
Dunno, there's a pretty epic selection of home knocks against England. Two stand-alone tons last year against a much better attack than this Indian one and a disgusting amount of runs against the 04/05 model.

Suppose the fact that this is a 1st vs 2nd series decider has to come into it though.

Yeah, Lopsy looks to be a bizarroworld Morne Morkel. Seems infinitely better against spin than pace.

What a knock. Single big difference between India bowling SA out cheaply and SA ending with a pretty big total in tough conditions.

Haha commentators cheering on Lopsy the final straw for me. Dying inside now.

It's the way he's played that's been so impressive tho. Has farmed the strike and looked to score. Has nursed a real bunny to a near 50 run partnership and was on 99* when Steyn went. Now well over 150. His best, IMHO.
