Lynn does hit the ball quite well, I can see why he's done so well in Shield cricket.
Western Australia signed Saj ****ing Mahmood.
Yep...hitting it a hell of a lot cleaner than Carseldine anywayLynn does hit the ball quite well, I can see why he's done so well in Shield cricket.
Not hard. McGrath could hit them better than Carseldine atm.Yep...hitting it a hell of a lot cleaner than Carseldine anyway
Pretty dumb, eh? He made the All Stars XI.Was just looking at some stats from last season - apparently Heal was the second highest wicket taker and only conceded 5.85 rpo which is nothing short of ****ing awesome, yet WA left him out for their opening game this season so they could play Mick Lewis and Saj Mahmood.
Statistically the best bowler of the tournament by a fair way tbh. He must be sending down some serious pies in grade cricket to be left out.Pretty dumb, eh? He made the All Stars XI.
Averaging 43 with the bat and 28 with the ball at a good economy last time I checked it. I'm clueless.Statistically the best bowler of the tournament by a fair way tbh. He must be sending down some serious pies in grade cricket to be left out.
hahaha, i think they've been hamstrung a bit by international boards not wanting to release their players. They wouldn't dare do that to the might of the bcci. A lot of the west indian players have declined central contracts for that reason. Because t20 is now the pinnacle of world cricket... Clearly, as you get damien fleming calling david hussey a "champion" on the call.
Actually, just three West Indians - Gayle, Bravo and Pollard. I see Bravo was on the winning side today, though he didn't seem to do a helluva lot to help.Hahaha, I think they've been hamstrung a bit by International boards not wanting to release their players. The recent disputes have actually been handled, and it seems, for the moment anyway, that the two organisations are at peaceThere was more than that, they're just the highest profile ones. The ongoing fighting with the West Indian players and the WICB has been going on for years and is embarrassing. If you ask me, they should start playing for free until they can dish up something to the paying public that resembles First Class Cricket, then work up to a pay scale in line with the quality output. Works that way in other "Industries"

The West End Redbacks are ready for tomorrow night’s clash against the RTA Speedblitz Blues in their opening KFC Twenty20 Big Bash match at Adelaide Oval.
The squad had their final hit-out at Adelaide Oval today with captain, Michael Klinger confident that the Redbacks will go one better this season.
“We know how to play some good Twenty20 cricket as a team and individuals and we’re looking forward to pressing our claims in this tournament,” he said.
Redbacks Twenty20 coach, Darren Berry is equally as excited about tomorrow’s match.
“We had some good form last season, some good form in the Champions League and I can’t wait for Tuesday night,” Berry said.
“It’s pretty easy to be fired up for the Big Bash. If we can’t get excited for this, we’re never going to be.”
Callum Ferguson has not recovered after being struck in the groin while playing backyard cricket on Christmas Eve and is out injured, while 23-year-old Nathan Lyon is set to make his debut if selected after impressive performances in the Futures League and Grade competition.

I don't think they'll pick all three specialist bowlers with Rashid, O'Brien, Christian and Pollard all playing as well. They'll just bat deep and flick Lyon IMO, unfortunately.SACA - South Australian Cricket Association - Media - REDbacks REDdy to take on the Speedblitz Blues
By the look of that squad you'd think 2 batsmen would drop out considering Richardson and Tait (besides Lyon) are the only 2 genuine bowlers..
