Vic have a pretty hot attack by the looks. Saw Harwood and Pattinson bowl during my trip to the MCG, thought Harwood looked pretty pedestrian while Pattinson was sharp, interested to see how that translates on TV

Lumb's one of the better overseas signings but he was in really poor form across all formats last county season so it'll be interesting to see how he goes.

Used to like Lumb simply because he was gun in one of my ICC games.

Has always looked **** to me in real life though.

Harwood's really sharp when he's in good rhythm (I vaguely remember seeing him clock 150 in a domestic game). A lot quicker than he looks; loves to bang it in short too.

Maybe it's just in comparison to what Queensland were serving up earlier, but this looks way quicker than 140ish kmh.

Speaking of which, the MCG appears to have one of those "slow radars" as well- Nannes is low 140s, he'd be about 165 in NZ atm  Pattinson already as quick as Nannes, so that's quick.

Pretty sure I recall Harwood bowling 130s when he played for Australia....just thought he'd got old and slow when I saw him

Yeah Harwood only bowls mid to high 130s when he's carrying injury, which tbf is pretty often. Still has the ability to fire it through though, particularly in T20 when he knows he only has to bowl four overs.

Yeah was thinking the same thing. Nannes was looking much quicker than those clocked at faster speeds in NZ recently.

First time seeing Pattinson bowl. Like his action; nice and simple.

I personally like Pattinson as a future prospect more than the more fancied Starc and Hazelwood but I'm never going to admit that again because he's Victorian.

Hodge is so classy. Never used to like him too much but have really warmed to him lately. Phenomenal catch!

Cannot believe that Qld have wasted a spot and money on a guy that is little more than an average domestic cricketer

They'd be far better off developing their own talent unless the signing is a Gayle or someone of his ilk
