Apparently this is going to be the last test match as coach of India for Gary Kirsten too.

And that too at his home ground at newlands,cape town.

His contract is up after the WC and he does not want to renew from the looks of it ,though all the senior players desperately want him to stay.

Will be a big loss for India when he leaves .Has made a big impact on the Indian team along with Paddy Upton and other support staff.
Hopefully we replace him with someone similar and not someone like Greg Chappell who wants to run the show.

Hmm Dhoni did finally win the toss but has decided to bowl. Hope he knows what he is doing since I would hate to chase a total in such a big game. Presumably Kirsten knows these conditions and played a major role in this decision. It would be ironic if after finally winning a toss Dhoni made the wrong decision.

Kirsten was saying in a interview that today they seem perfect conditions as they come for bowling at Newlands.

Yeah losing Kirsten before the India-England test series is going to be a big blow. Has really contributed a lot to the Indian team especially after the woeful Chappell.

He was actually dropped on 0 against Habhajan before he got out in the 2nd innings.
Was looking dodgy as well for a time period specially against Bhajji.
