Not watching this, kids got tv.

So does it look a good toss to have won?
You're not missing anything right now with the rain mate. Yes it looks a good toss to win if overhead conditions remain (without the rain) as they are for the rest of the day. Pitch looking green, and as they haven't had enough glorious sunshine over the last couple of days, it does look like it'll do enough for the bowlers such as Zaheer, to be a real handful.

It's not a quick pitch, the curator said before the game it'll be a tennis-ball bounce, and they are looping through to the keeper on occasions, but carrying well enough.

Zaheer did Smith again, set up nicely, then trapped him on his back pad, easy decision to make. Petersen has looked good, one nicely tucked off his legs and a lovely off drive, looks in good order.

Apparently this is going to be the last test match as coach of India for Gary Kirsten too.

The Telegraph - Calcutta (Kolkata) | Sports | Gary Kirsten’s mind made up

And that too at his home ground at newlands, cape town.

His contract is up after the WC and he does not want to renew from the looks of it ,though all the senior players desperately want him to stay.

Will be a big loss for India when he leaves .Has made a big impact on the Indian team along with Paddy Upton and other support staff.
Hopefully we replace him with someone similar and not someone like Greg Chappell who wants to run the show.
Damn!!! :(

Can't we just pay Kirsten a ****load of money to stay? I'll miss him :((((((((((((
When is Kirsten leaving????

He is a gun coach. I think BCCI should make him an offer he can't refuse. They do have tons of money. Might as well put it to good use.

If Kirsten's decision is based solely around wanting to spend more time with his family, it's unlikely any increase in money will be able to change his mind. According to that report, he seems pretty set on leaving his post, but that depends on the reliability of the confidant that gives his opinion in the article.

Yeah, it's unlikely an increase in pay would do the trick.
