It's just that an 18 year old fast bowler bowled 150+, of course people will talk about bowling speeds.

Bear in mind, there were no speed guns in the domestic games that Milne played in.

Yeah fo sho, especially since they're things that are easily quantifiable and yet people get them so wrong.

NZ media and comms though are obsessed with speed because they think it's of critical importance to how good you are

Well he's a lot quicker that's for sure, he's probably even added a few K's since coming back from that back injury that basically wiped out his season last year.
