Franklin's slower balls are oddly effective
This is one of those pitches where the ball isn't quite coming on to the bat well, so the faster you bowl, the easier it is to bat. The bowlers who are taking the pace off the ball are the ones having success.

It's weird not seeing Franklin getting mowed in a limited overs match.
As I said before, his T20I economy rate is pretty respectable. I know it's a tough comparison because they open and bowl at the death but Mills and Southee have much higher economy rates.

Declining to take a catch or run out should be decent tactic in T20. NZ should have been wanting Younis and Shafiq to stay there as long as possible.

By the end of this summer I want you to change your mind that Franklin and Styris are good to go for 10 overs in an ODI between them.
