Yeah starting to come around to the theory that Hilfenhaus usually looks a lot better than he actually bowls.

Look, they shouldn't be doing it to Bell. And there's too much to Swann. But Prior wants the ball on the front dog, or with width. When the ball was sailing over middle peg, he didn't want to stand behind it - two balls before he jumped to leg, the next one he took his eye off it, and then the last he was jumping right across the crease because he wasn't prepared to be totally inside it.

How much did he score off the short ball? He played two half hit pull shots.

Well this is a right old pile of crap to wake up to. Sounds like Johnson's bowled well, but England are paying the price for not finishing Aus off yesterday when, they finished up at least 100 over what they should have been after 69 for 5.

Interesting that none of it happened with the new ball.

Failing to even get level is really really really ****ing pathetic. Even just without Finn's brain fade yesterday against the tale we would be 30-40 runs closer.

He can't change it swinging from the hand. But he can pitch it up to a bit fuller than a length. And, you know, bowl it at off-stump.
