Well no...Bit like session one yesterday with Tremlett then?
Finn had a shocker but you would be harsh to say that Anderson and Swann didnt adequately support him.

Did a pretty sound job on everyone else though.Don't miss Cooley at all tbh, he nearly ruined Jimmy.
One of the most overrated knocks in the history of mankind. That game was well and truly over before Ponting told Gilly 'why dont you go have a slog while the bowlers are demoralized and the guy whos made you look like a club cricketer over the past 2 years isnt going to be bowling much.'The Perth 06 clips were a nice reminder of what we don't have to face now.

Yeah, Gilly has played some great great knocks but that one was just a nice farewell really. One of the most overrated knocks in the history of mankind. RHYTHEM. It's all about rhythem in cricket.Really wonder how much of Johnson's new found swing has to do with the wind at this ground today. The fact that he can't get the ball to swing consistently quite obviously shows that it has nothing to do with a) his action b) Dennis Lillee and c) Troy Cooley.
You might want to check your spelling before writing stuff in capitals.RHYTHEM. It's all about rhythem in cricket.
Yeah I got all of his debut Ashes series (1961?), and some of his batting in the WI with Bob Simpson.Him and Richie didn't go over.
Got any Bill to upload?
Swann bowled one over in the first session didn't he? Anderson was not that flash yesterday morning tbf. Much like Hilf today really - ok but not Adelaide or Brisbane standard by any stretch.Well no...

Its no one's fault really. Gilchrist putting on 100 had close to 0 impact on that game because England were out of the game by the time he came into bat. Theres a reason why the likes of KP were bowling during that innings. For the last 2 or so years of his career was a very very very ordinary player, in fact Id argue that Australia would have been better off with Haddin.
Flintoff was skipper. Whose fault was it he didn't bowl do him?
Gilly's glovework alone justified picking him over Haddin, except for that last horror-series against India. Its no one's fault really. Of course dont let that stop you and the rest of the Gilly maniacs on this forum from thinking that he played the knock of a lifetime in that game.
