Bail us out? They've lost every ODI since the Bangladesh Tour started. He's been good, but has yet to bail NZ out of anything.

Yeah the only thing he has done is get himself a place in the side and improve his batting average from 20 to 23

He bailed NZ out of a score of about 130 in the 3rd ODI, and he got us up to what should've been a winning score in the 4th when it was looking like we'd wind up about 250. Earnt us a bit of respectability in both cases.
