So good to see KP back.

Doug really has been awful though, what do Australia do now? X is sure to go so will they make two bowling changes again?

At this rate the lead could be 200 by lunch.
Well when I posted that 40 minutes ago I still didn't think they'd get there but they did. Over 5 runs an over in a session is pretty special even considering the pitch and bowling.

I seen Doug's opening spell and he looked good, not sure what's happened. Perhaps when I ridiculed them for using match practice as non selection I was wrong

Even Collingwood has looked good this innings.

The main pity with the Ashes so far is that there's rarely been an even contest between bat and ball.

could have a 400 run lead by this evening. We only want half an hour bowling tonight with the new ball, apparently it does more in the mornings.

what apart from the 260 and 245 you mean?
Both of those innings were over in less than a day. If you look at every other day, you get the drift.

Doherty's figures look terrible but are still a lot better than McGain's in his only test. That puts his crap bowling into some context.

Bollinger is said to be carrying a niggle, as are Siddle and Harris.

That is just rubbing salt into the wounds for the Aussies.

Haha, what's the bet Johnson will be back in the XI for the third test despite having no match practice since being dropped. I don't think the Aussies have any option.

Good job it isn't another back to back game then.

Might still get a brand new attack for Perth though.

Copeland, Cameron, Johnson, O'Keefe ?

Most of Day 2 and the first session of Day 3 Brisbane were fairly even contests

Was thinking about that not long ago... thank **** for that

The one advantage that Australia has is that in its own back yard it does have reserve bowlers if the toll on the incumbents is too much. With no standouts, they might just keep shuffling the deck. Harris has looked better than anyone tried in Brisbane but the attack has still looked toothless.

Cameron might be worth a shot. Had McDonald not busted his paw, he might have come into play as well.
