Too bad he has such an obnoxious personalityKudos to KP, made that session reasonably enjoyable to watch from an objective POV.
Yep, he is very much like Mark Waugh was for you guys when he used to plunder us. Painful but a joy to watch when going.Kudos to KP, made that session reasonably enjoyable to watch from an objective POV.
Well when I posted that 40 minutes ago I still didn't think they'd get there but they did. Over 5 runs an over in a session is pretty special even considering the pitch and bowling. At this rate the lead could be 200 by lunch.
Oh don't worry, Mark Waugh is still a pain in the arse on the TV now.Yep, he is very much like Mark Waugh was for you guys when he used to plunder us. Painful but a joy to watch when going.
Adelaide pitch genius for sure.
Cook is also a genius against this attack.
what apart from the 260 and 245 you mean?Even Collingwood has looked good this innings.
The main pity with the Ashes so far is that there's rarely been an even contest between bat and ball.
Both of those innings were over in less than a day. If you look at every other day, you get the drift.what apart from the 260 and 245 you mean?
Thought Australia's first innings was fairly even as well - certainly far more even than 481 would suggest.what apart from the 260 and 245 you mean?
Good job it isn't another back to back game then.Bollinger is said to be carrying a niggle, as are Siddle and Harris.
That is just rubbing salt into the wounds for the Aussies.

Doherty's figures look terrible but are still a lot better than McGain's in his only test. That puts his crap bowling into some context.

Was thinking about that not long ago... thank **** for thatGood job it isn't another back to back game then.
Might still get a brand new attack for Perth though.
Copeland, Cameron, Johnson, O'Keefe ?
The one advantage that Australia has is that in its own back yard it does have reserve bowlers if the toll on the incumbents is too much. With no standouts, they might just keep shuffling the deck. Harris has looked better than anyone tried in Brisbane but the attack has still looked toothless. Most of Day 2 and the first session of Day 3 Brisbane were fairly even contests
