Any chance of the other pitches being quicker than this one? Just saw 2 bouncers from Broad to Ponting that barelry reached the keeper. Don't mind flat pitches but got to have a bit of pace and bounce give the bowlers summit to work with. A bit worrying as I was reading that the Gabba was the quickest pitch in Australia if not the world.

I think it was actually KP who flung the ball to the boundary at Adelaide in the 2nd innings during a really good over from Flintoff. That was sickening.

Think Hussey faced better bowling but Cook's was in tougher situation, initially anyway - would probably go with Hussey.
Hussey's was a superb knock but Cook was under more pressure and offered fewer chances so I'd have him ahead slightly.

both were great 100s under intense pressure, i guess Englishmen would choose cooks, australians would choose husseys

Cook's double. Tougher match situation and less tainted (wasn't out plumb lbw, and actually finished not out). Also scored more runs.
