Losing Dilshan early is a bad blow. He usually sorts out the opposition and gives us a good start. Ah well.

2 down, shame they don't have Jerome and Fidel, Any idea what happened to these blokes?
Injured. Edwards is injured so often that you can basically write him off, while Taylor's injured extremely frequently too.

It's a shame they didn't pick Russell again, IMO. I'd back him to improve on his last outing.

Sammy gets Mahela! Poor shot really, played all around that one. He was really struggling, with an outside edge just falling short of slip before that.

Haven't seen much of Russell.

3-down. I love it. I love it. A good lesson for Srilanka Cricket which decided to rest Malinga. Test cricket comes first and anything else comes second and a distant second. :)

Fidel is back training with Barbados now and may be in their squad for the caribbean t20 competition that starts in January!!..

Taylor has had back problems and didn't get a contract from the WICB because of him suffering so many injuries of late, but he's also training with Jamaica and should be back in full flow next year.

Honestly, no-one has. I refuse to believe he got the figures he has in A-team tours bowling with the sort of inaccuracy and poor discipline he did in the first Test though, and he was definitely sharp with a bit of movement.

Yeah Sammy has bowled well except for that last over where he was all over the place.

So when does everyone think we should introduce the spinners? after lunch? we can't afford to tire out Roach that's for sure.

Depends if Bravo and Sammy continue to look threatening or not, really. Reckon we'll see a spinner on before lunch to follow Sammy's spell tbh.

Reckon Shillingford may ask a few questions of Sanga. He is weaker against spin than against pace. Still feel WI are making the classic mistake that teams touring the subcontinent do by playing two spinners. Think it will play into SL's hands.
