the normal services have resumed though NZL should be satisfied with the test part of this tour, I do think they can win the odi's.

not with the result I meant with the effort all teams will have a bad innings in India so if its happening 1/4 it means you have done something right.

Why are the commentators up in arms about the short pitched bowling. IT is not like pitching it up to Sehwag is going to make any difference. at least we are trying something. Should have a man in close for it however.

Hmm we were handi-capped by injuries (well...Ryder and McCullum had the highest scores) but Taylor and Vettori are better than they have shown on this tour.

Moral of the story is we have three good batsmen, two developing batsmen, an inconsistent just test class batsman, and two passengers in the top eight. If two guys get injured and another two are out of form, we're in a bit of strife.

So I guess you are right to an extent, but I will be disappointed, if we do lose, that 1-0 to India is held as satisfactory. Just because something is better than expected it doesn't mean it's satisfactory.

But we have found some possible answers to several questions about our batting in this series, which is good. Martin and Southee performing decently on flat pitches is good too. Bodes well for when we host your lads. Should be a good series and hopefully it will be controversy free.
