Yep for sure, even if we were not restricted and could pick anyone who's played Ashes Cricket from any era, I would have went for Alderman almost straight away.

He's actually a very under appreciated Cricketer IMO and I think he should be making more draft teams. I remember him to be a very safe slip fielder in his day too.
