SA didn't need to bat on that long. They will still win easily though.
I hope it rains like anything in Dubai and the match gets drawn . Apparently there are a lot of clouds around.......wishful thinking thisSA didn't need to bat on that long. They will still win easily though.
Good point, that would have pretty much removed the draw from the equation, though as it stands SA are more than likely to finish the game off.South Africa were a bit too defensive for mine. You have to be prepared to lose if you want to win. South Africa would have been better off declaring ten overs or so earlier. If they had set 360-380 instead of 450, Pakistan may well have been tempted into going for it.
I am not too sure. The track is still good for batting; if the Pakistani batsmen use their heads and try not to play fancy T20 shots, I see no reason why they can't bat out another 90 overs. Dale Steyn has been uncharacteristically subdued in this match. Maybe after-effects of his injury ?Good point, that would have pretty much removed the draw from the equation, though as it stands SA are more than likely to finish the game off.On the other hand, if Younis and Azhar can bat until lunch tomorrow, then we've got a real fight on the cards.
