Horrible choice, give it to Cameron and let him rip. Victoria will now, just pick Hauritz off and be settled once Cameron comes in.

Though, Starc is injured. Out for four weeks.

Well I'll be damned. It worked!

EDIT: Clarke must be off the field. Hopefully not for the most obvious reason aside from just having a break.

Now bring Cameron on to take the last eight!

I'm actually worried Cameron might be injured. Even if they did want to bowl Hauritz with the new ball for some reason, Clark bowled first change in the first dig and Cameron took the new ball. Has anyone spotted him out on the field?

I wonder whether it's a plan from above, using Hauritz super early to try and get Strauss out with that ball that slides on; he had some success with it in England against him.

Yeah that would leave Watson as the only other seamer, which is... dodgy.

EDIT: Possibly. Strauss seems to have trouble reading Hauritz.

Yeah, if Cameron's injured then the attack is

Clark
Watson
Hauritz
Smith
Clarke
Khawaja

To be fair not many teams could have both their opening bowlers go down and still field such a passable attack but that's still ****ing ****house.

It's all speculation at this point though; hopefully he is fine.

Is that why Hauritz is still in the team? 8-)

TBH i think we should try what we did last Ashes here, try to bounce Strauss out. If he copes well than back to bowling full and outside off-stump. Last resort try Hauritz

Best rule out Clarke too, I can't see him on the field.

If his back is flaring up that may explain why he was so reluctant to open up today.

Fair play to those damn Vics, they batted and bowled better. We're still a chance, with our suprstar bowler Nathan Hauritz :p
