Yeah, winning was always out of the question, but declaring as soon as Bhajji got to hundred was the obvious thing to do.

Bhaji is the worst batsman to score a test century since Tim McIntosh’s fluke against the West Indies in 2008.

This is why I hate the Australian team, they have plenty of openers that they don't need, whereas we barely have any that could actually score some runs. It's been nearly two years since a NZ opener scored a Test century, and it was the **** who has just made a pair

Man, Waftling looks utterly clueless against spin.

Why am I even bothering to stay up and watch this?

LMAO at MSD's comments to Ojha from behind the stumps.

Hilarious stuff.

Flem said that he was secretly hoping we might steal a win before the tour started. While I had only been dreaming of a draw. I never thought we would get close or be in with a chance. Congrats to the blackcaps on the draw and our newly found batting order.

It was a mistake to take Bennet into the game with a 4 man attack but even the posters here didn't call the selectors on it so I guess it was a forgiveable mistake. I sincerely hope he is never picked at any level of cricket in a 4 man attack again.

Whatever could go wrong did go wrong for our bowling attack. Jesse couldn't bowl, Bennet broke down - but everything that could go right did go right for our batting. Including Kane not being given out on 56. And taylor surviving a close lbw call. And Jesse getting dropped.

A draw against the number 1 team in the world is a good result. Hats off to all concerned.

Other comments I thought Patel bowled reasonably today and thought Vettori should have stuck with him for longer. We should have stacked the boundaries and had Patel toss it up to Harbajhan.
