Where do you find these things? Pretty impressive.
Knew about Watling playing because guys in my old hockey team had played against him. Apparently he was a gun striker, had a fantastic eye and could ping them in from anywhere.

Can't remember where I read about Rhodes, but just checked his Wikipedia page and it confirms.

I used to have an English player in my team with a mean streak. And he claimed that if a batsman got on his nerves he had been known to bowl a beamer from 16 yards.

Kane is starting to push at balls outside off stump. Would prefer he hit them for runs or left them all together.

Yeah, we know all about Harmison. Heard they were not intentional though.:p

I have had enough of Dravid tbh.He has been in dire form and now he is dropping catches as well.Even Imran Farhat might have taken that.

Great player but the end is near-SA series should be his last.

Cricinfo comments have just reached their zenith :

Mansi: "good piece of stat for cricinfo guys , the comments you published in this test are 85.43% male comments .why this partiality ?" Oh we have 15% comments from women? Never realised
Vinci: "@Mansi: wanna frandship??" Good one Vinci

He has been playing only sporadic good knocks for two-three years now.Even this year-he was hit on the helmet by a B'desh bowler!, was crap in SL and laboured his way to a ton on a flat deck against an attack that had only a bowler of note, that too after being dropped once in his twenties or something(or was it twice?).

Great player like I said, but clearly past it.A Vijay or Pujara would like give better returns now,esp in the SC.The argument against RD becomes even stronger if you consider the rate at which he is dropping catches.

Yeah, I've been very critical of Dravid lately but certainly wouldn't advocate dropping him when he just scored a century. Also batted fluently (against some admittedly crap bowling by Patel) in the 2nd half of his innings.

Anyone know the injury status of Hamish "The stud" Bennett? Will he bowl in the 2nd innings?

Expecting 100s from both Williamson and Ryder.
