You sir are a believer. Good read.
Forecast doesn't sound that bad though "Cloudy. Areas of rain, easing to isolated showers around midday. Isolated thunderstorms along the coastal fringe early in the morning".Was absolutely pouring this evening.
Never been a big fan. He's just alright, not great by any means. He's very good on a wicket that helps him a bit but otherwise I find the lack of pace and guile disappointing.Does anyone else actually like Nuwan Kulasekara? I am a big fan, he suffers from an unfair reputation. A smart bowler can succeed despite a lack of pace, and I don't think many limited over bowlers are more canny than Kulasekara. He appears to be a very good judge of the situation of the game and is a vital attribute of a succesful Sri Lankan team.
It's still raining now thoughForecast doesn't sound that bad though "Cloudy. Areas of rain, easing to isolated showers around midday. Isolated thunderstorms along the coastal fringe early in the morning".
Isolated showers never eventuate to much, so there still should be a satisfying amount of time for play.
Edit: what Spark said...
Yeh I'm sure it will stop soon though. Hopefully the field will dry quick enough so by tmrw morning it will start on time. It's still raining now though
There are a lot of ways to insult Curt Henning but calling PEWS him is NOT something acceptable...ooh get you
Mr Perfect has spoken.
Good grief, that is so ridiculousKulasekara is so undervalued. He was the best ODI bowler in the world at one point.
Neither would be 75% of Aussie FC bowlers on SL wickets as well. Horses are for courses mate. Don't expect him to be a McGrath on flat Aussie wickets. But he's very good on low slow wickets (if he hits the pad, you're basically out) and on seaming tracks. Bowlers like Hasting or Watson will be taken to the cleaners if they played on a SL domestic circuit which offer no bounce. Doherty or Hauritz will just better than a Divison 2 spinner in SL. But on their home tracks all these bowlers can do a very good job.Good grief, that is so ridiculous
The guy is little better than a very good club bowler - he'd be lucky to average less than 40 in any half reasonable fc comp and wouldn't get a game in OZ even in its hopelessly degraded state

Your point?Well if he can be the best in the world he was clearly better than everything Australia had to offer at that point in time as well...
