If I was a SL fan this would piss me off more than make me happy. Silva, Sanga (though he was awesome before it) and Perera were pitiful.

I knew he was basically a slogger but I was still stunned that a man with a First Class average over 40 in pretty bowler-friendly conditions generally could have such an awful defence. It has to be somewhat of an aberration because the vast majority of tailenders in Shield cricket have a better defence than that.

Kid could book himself a WC berth during this series. Hell, he could get a test cap if he takes wickets every match.

Johnson bowling so many overs was seriously bad captaincy IMO. I know it was the PowerPlay but he was getting belted; should've been hooked after that over that went for 10.
