haha, loving how they want to use Ashes Tests to have a look at whether a bloke is in form
Yeh haha, clearly they want to use the Ashes to assess his form for the subsequent ODI series... Great thinking Hilditch.

That's what got me! I usually have a poke around to find a quote like that but this time, didn't think I needed to.....

Very entertaining. Sadly, Hilditch does appear to select along those lines.
Hey, I wasn't the only one fooled  As you implied though, I think its a pretty good testament to how ready a lot of us are to believe any ridiculous thing Hilditch might say.

Copeland looks very dangerous in these conditions. I am a little surprised he wasn't the one to end up with a 6fer in the first innings.

Copeland looks very dangerous in any conditions. He's awesome.

Any bowler would probably look awesome against the Queenslanders at the moment. Broad bowled by Copeland whilst shouldering arms to a ball pitching 2-3 inches outside off-strump. Brave, and stupid.

Another wicket for Cameron - Chris Lynn ends a torturous innings by chasing a wide outswinger with no feet. Awesome catch by Nevill too.

Bring back Chris Simpson.
The weird thing about the Queensland batting lineup, which seems to fold so often, is that none of them are individually bad players. They all average mid 30s barring Dunk who's playing his second game; there isn't a disgracefully bad prank-batsman in there you could look at replacing. They just lack that really top notch bat that all the decent teams have at the moment - Khawaja, Klinger, Hodge, Cosgrove. Carseldine's name just doesn't sit right with those blokes.

Is QLD playing ridiculously ****, or are the conditions excessively bowler friendly?

So rare to see a scorecard like this. How awesome if Cameron can stay fit for the entire season. NSW should only play him in the Sheffield Shield.
