Zimbabwe scored 168, 186 against same bowling line up in T20s.

It seems Afridi don't have temperament for even T20s, Time to announce retirement.

SA could so easily throw this away if they're not careful.

I was typing this post even before Smith's wicket

Would be a lame loss. Don't do it SA.

Lots of questions being answered in terms of batting depth and the middle order. There's still question marks around no. 7. Should Albie be playing? Should be play a longer tail and move Botha there? Do we continue with McLaren?

My personal preference is that replace Albie with Steyn and go with the longer tail. It's something you can get away with in T20s.

Even at 8, Haider looks high up in the order.

South Africa needs to sort out how they are playing spin. Smith looked awful last night against it and Bosman really needs to be out before the spinners come on. Ingram impressive again last night and JP playing spin with some positive intent. Would be tempted to keep the same team with just Amla coming in for Loots for the first 3 ODIs and then bring back Steyn and Kallis for the last 2 games as their warm-up for the tests.

Also need to get Parnell into the ODI side if he is going to be the 3rd quick for the tests.

I just checked cricinfo and it seems there is no Yosaf in the ODI squad for Pak!What are the selectors thinking?I am so pissed at this nepotism. As it is the odds are heavily stacked against Pak with them facing a side they've never beaten in an ODI series, and then we have to deal with the idiocy of Farhat's father-in-law.

I have been following Pak cricket for 2 decades nearly and there has never been a side this bad.Not even close.

I have a feeling Pak may win the ODI series 3-2,they came ever so close in Eng afterall, but its the tests I am worried about.

Is he?Didn't know. That highlighted bit should have been "I have been following cricket for two decades and I've never seen a Pak side this bad" Semantics

I follow Pak cricket more than you might think though-hard to forget your roots, grand parents migrated from Lahore ages ago....

It's true though, even post 03 when there were wholesale changes,Pak were a solid side. The current team's batting collapses are just inexplicable.
