Good win by RSA. Only concern would be how they handled the offies which doesn’t bold well for the test series. Ingram had the right approach to Ajmal. Awesome sight as well when he stuck Shoaib into the stands. Akhtar could just about do 4 overs in England, here he can just about send down 10 balls without the pace dropping by 10kph. Would be a concern for the ODIs as without him, Pak don’t have a pace attack.

Also, don't bring back Kallis!

Dude he's only 30 aswell, you can't say he is past it at all.
He was “old” when I finished secondary school, 8 years ago! He has less mobility than Shane Watson and bowls like a geriatric. Should just be playing as a specialist finisher at six. Pak still need him.

Abdul Razzak is finished, He is not hitting the ball as hard, as far, as often, He is clueless against spin. He cant bat, cant bowl, cant field.

And still he's your best T20 player

Get rid of ******** slogger from the captaincy. Glorified tailender at his best.

I have been saying it for the few months or so that Abdul Razzaq should be dropped.. He performs once in a blue moon.. ever since his ICL come back which has been over a year now.. He has performed only on a couple of occations or so..guys like Anwar Ali, Hamad and Lal Kumar should have been tried by now already..

why they keep giving craps like Hafeez, farhat and Misbah chances again and again.. they can't even make the Zim and bangladish XI based on their recent performance

here is Imran Farhat's record in his past 6 innings..

38, 4, 43, 19, 0, 11 and 6

how he made it to the team is out of my understanding here.. his strike rate and his batting style.. his fielding and catching makes his selection for limited overs cricket more questionable.. clearly, his selection has to do with politics and Sefarish rather than merit for sure..

If icc is trying to clean currption in pakistan cricket, they should take a note of this..Dawn and other respected news papers in Pakistan has reported on this with clear evidance that Mohmmad Ilyas who is one of the cheif selectors, selected fewer openers intentionally so his son in Law Imran Farhat gets the chance to play all the matches in the series.. ICC should step in on these issues as well.. this issue of favoritism and Sefarish is even worst than match fixing..

The only one there is an arguement for not failing is Misbah, who did not look good while he was out there and looked completely out of place in a T20 match, especially that low in the order. They would have been better to swap him and Afridi IMO.
+1

Misbah should bat @ No.3 or 4

He wont be handy coming @ No.6 or 7 where you are expected to score 9-10/over

Well, agree with AaronK on the issue of selection. There is no doubt about the nepotism clearly on show by PCB selectors. There are some very good prospects out there which need to be tried. No wonder why Afridi and Waqar were aloud in there discontent with the selection.

T20 is a game where some player's might get away with slogging there way to fifties or odd 40s but come ODIs and Tests, neither can these batsmen play long innings nor score runs at a good rate.

Albie's really only been used to burn an over at the start of the innings these past few games, but both have been really expensive.

What do you mean burn an over? Don't want to give the new ball to Morne, since he bowls back of a length?

Meant to say one of his overs. Get it out of the way when supposedly the openers are finding their bearings. Didn't work at all last night.

When the ball is swinging and Albie's on song, he's nigh on unplayable. That's the only thing going for him though.
