*Official* New Zealand in Bangladesh 2010

Very - even by WW's lofty standards.

Picking on a Bangladesh fan who's excited by the team's greatest ever moment is pretty low.
Have to say I agree with this. Windie that was not one of your better posts. I would be pumped up by a 4-0 victory given Bangers history. I didn't even know we had Bangers fans on this message board given how hard it is to support them. Maybe we will get a few more now.

Everyone, this is the Bangladesh-NZ tour thread. If you want to have involved discussions about other teams, you should find/make an appropriate thread to do it in.
Bumping this comment to reiterate what the moderation team have been saying over the last couple of days in this topic - WW your recent post is clearly not on topic and pretty cynical in itself.

Just BRING IT ON! WI turf or BD turf...we have a few guns who can handle the breezy pace pretty well and since WI lacks an express...I don't see why we can't pull off a series win against them
So didn't i have a right to reply? i'm not "picking on him" as some have suggested i'm just defending my point of view.

A single point separates NZ and West Indies in the Test rankings, 29 points separates them in ODIs and you are equal with Bangladesh!. You're an idiot.

Oh look, the usual "offensive remark" from one of the childish brats when i disagree with them!! 8-) , firstly i was talking about BANGLADESH ONLY of which we are a long way ahead in the Test rankings!!.. but don't let that spoil your argument!!, plus they aren't ahead of us in the ODI's either.

As for NZ, i know it must hurt being below us in the test rankings but you need to get over it, the table doesn't lie.

What the heck do Tests have to do with anything? This is an ODI tour thread and in it Bangladesh just tied in the rankings with the West Indies.

Surely you can forgive him for being excited and getting a bit carried away. Isn't the joy of a momentous victory what watching sport is all about? You could have let it slide or just said something like "we'll see". Instead, you tried to knock the wind out of his sails.

You can proclaim victory WHEN you beat Bangladesh, not BEFORE.

If that's the case why the hell did you type out the Test Rankings then? jesus you lot get more bone idle by the day!! .

All sorts of trauma on tour caused that obviously.

When PAK where playing well as unit without controversey they almost beat AUS in the 2009 Champions trophy, plus of course they won the 2009 T20 WC.

India full-strenght ODI side where totally outplayed by AUS in IND 09 (with AUS missing its entire 1st choice attack), mainly because their bowling was crap. That glaring deficiency is why they will fall short of winning the WC next year.
ODIs in the SC are almost always played on roads. It doesn't matter like in tests where we prepare turners to take a series in the final game. Keeping that in mind, lets take a look at what actually happened really in that series, fantasy aside:

1st ODI - Aus restricted to 292 - a par score these days in Indian pitches - Praveen Kumar conceded 77 runs going wicketless in 10 overs. The other bowlers RPO was less than 6. Every one of 'em, thats a feat in itself when playing in India. Australia won a close game by just 4 runs.

2nd ODI - India win by 99 runs. Huge win and every bowler takes wickets and no one concedes runs at more than 6 an over except Harbhajan who concedes 6.2 an over, by no means cringeworthy these days.

3rd ODI - No bowler concedes runs at more than 6 an over this time and Aus are restricted to 229 after playing out 50 overs. Great effort by the bowlers. India win comfortably again.

4th ODI - Aus bowled out for 250. Awesome job by the bowlers but the batsmen let the side down to lose by 24 runs after smashing MJ for 84 off 9 overs - that should give you an idea about the pitch, a road as usual.

5th ODI - Then came the decider, every Tom, Dick and Harry scored runs in the game. Bowlers couldn't do much from either side and the margin for error in that pitch was so small. India lost a nail biter by 3 runs.

Now the series presents a completely different picture to what you had claimed. I think you are just trying to troll here by dragging the thread off topic and making false claims. I respect the mods and have reported your posts like they have asked to. I won't address you in this thread again as per mod instructions but man, you had no idea what you were talking about.

Correct. New Zealand are ahead of the West Indies in ODIs. Bangladesh are level with West Indies. Discussion over.

It's complete **** the thread of the series Bangladesh have enjoyed a rare and and emphatic success in has gone to the dogs. Seriously.

These roasts are being deported because this thread should either discuss the tour/NZ cricket/Bangladesh cricket, or let the thread die.

Bump. Now end it.

I don't care if you have a grudge to settle with someone who's already posted something confronting in this thread; I don't care if your life depends on posting about the West Indies in this thread - cut it out. You do not have a right to reply once you see a post like the above from f_o_s, no matter what.

I'll be deleting any further WI-related posts in here and if it gets out of control again, there might be a banning or two.
