International 12th Man
punter will retire after ashes
Wow you think Tendulkar will score just 3 more centuries and Ponting will score about 7 more??if sachin does manage to put the records beyond ricky's reach, then graeme smith is the only who could even come close to scoring 15000 runs 50 centuries; sanga has a very distant shot too. looking into the mirror, not the cracked one ian chappell used, i predict these final figures.
sachin 15.5K runs - 52 hundreds.
ricky 14.5k runs - 47 hundreds
smith 14k runs - 38 hundreds
sanga - 13k runs - 35 hundreds
Spudsy... this thread is a like a licensed whorehouse. This will save the sanctity of hundreds of other threads, similar to how a good whorehouse reduces number of ***ual offenses in a big city.
I don't want to hurt Ikki too much... with sachin playing for the no.1 team and ponting leading the underdog team in the forthcoming series, i hope punter plays well, scores a couple of hundreds and saves his reputation. if that happens, then he will end up with 45+ hundreds for sure. sachin? no one can predict when he is going to stop though!Wow you think Tendulkar will score just 3 more centuries and Ponting will score about 7 more??
Dont mean to start a debate but considering their current form, I would say its the other way around

within four years of their dubut, SL won a series against india and beat pakistan in a test match IIRC. they were merely greenhorns, not minnows.SL 1982-1992 can be regarded as minnows.
Nah, he's right SL were certainly easy-beats/minnows between 82-90 at least, even NZ absolutely slaughtered them in SL conditionswithin four years of their dubut, SL won a series against india and beat pakistan in a test match IIRC. they were merely greenhorns, not minnows.
Regardless of those wins...the perception in world cricket towards them was that of minnows. Most cricketing nations did not take them seriously until 1996.within four years of their dubut, SL won a series against india and beat pakistan in a test match IIRC. they were merely greenhorns, not minnows.

warne is a twit. how does it matter how a sportsman conducts himself off the field? a philandering warne is a greater leggie than a straight jacketed kumble! we are discussing excellence in sports; not role-models for life.Warne's latest tweet

Sachin or Lara,Sachin wins in my opinion, day in day out against pace or spin awesome against both ! He conducts himself on & off field class
Well thats just plain wrong. Aus have played a boxing day test in 95/96 during a 3 test series, cant get any more 'summer' than that.Australia have never invited Sri Lanka for a full 3 match series in their summer..
Probably just saying it along with who he likes better tbh.warne is a twit. how does it matter how a sportsman conducts himself off the field? a philandering warne is a greater leggie than a straight jacketed kumble! we are discussing excellence in sports; not role-models for life.
