Yep he bowled well in SA no doubt, especially in the first test.
I did watch it and thought he bowled okay, beat the bat often enough. Would hardly say he was played 'easily'.
FFS McDonald bowled better then him in the series. He was rubbish, no denying that (unless you have a poor memory and judge him by his recent performances).

It was basically half volley pie after another. And the funny thing is that he still does it at ODIs.

Yeah, they shouldn't look to go all out just yet. They could lose it and get bundled out with a lead of 50 odd, which isn't ideal since they won't want to be chasing too much in the fourth innings.

but neither would then aussies get that much time to actually get a good lead and then send us to bat and take our 10 wickets

Maybe in the 3rd test he bowled pies but it wasnt THAT bad in the first two tests. Nowhere near rubbish. Why the harshness towards Hilfy???

Well that's what I was like during that series, if McGain didn't debut in the 3rd Test I would have probably remembered his shocker even more

This is completely different to someone like Bollinger having his debut at Sydney, who genuinely was unlucky that game.

Hilfenhaus had big questions over him when he was selected for the Ashes (infact Lee or Clark would have played if they could've). He has changed since the Ashes.

I remember that series clearly (Hughes fan ) so when I say he bowled **** house, he bowled **** house.
