*Official* Australia in India 2010

Virat Kohli (c)
Both Zaheer and Sree have received official warnings for running on the pitch.

Not ideal to say the least.

Has anyone seen Trent Copeland play? He's only played 10 innings, but so far a bowling average of 17.57!

Sounds pretty promising...

Paine always looks so good, his batting is so simple and correct. Should make a lot of runs in test cricket, looks good against pace and spin too.
Paine has always looked top class. Has the same problem as Ferguson in just finding ways to be dismissed. Another 50 from Paine and I'd be happy for him to start the Ashes as the Australian number 7/keeper.

Hope he fixes it. Really good to watch.

Hm, edge gets a four and the immaculate cover drive gets no run. Always weird how that works.

Most posters in the Australian domestic thread rave about him. Another big season and he will be in contention.

His bowling isnt incredible, but his stats are for sure. If he starts off the season well in the same vein as the end of last season then he's got to be next in line. Not super fast, not as tall as George, swings in a bit but is bouncy. Came from nowhere last season after really impressing in the 2nd X1 matches.

Yeht thats why I was asking if anyones actually seen him. Because 10 innings is obviously now where near enough to judge how good he is from stats alone.

That was horrible from Paine, don't care if that went from 4. Awful shot.
Was a bad shot but got the precise result required, as Dhoni in his infinite wisdom immediately sent mid-off and mid-on back apparently.

This pitch doesn't look like its doing much at all...Should be easy for India match whatever score Aus gets here.

Hmm. Paine doing the Clarke classic "perfect cover drive straight at a fielder" routine here.

Geez, people in cricinfo are being mighty rough on Haddin one feels. Give him a break ffs he hasn't played any cricket in months upon months.

Indian bowling has been less than stellar so it will be interesting to see whether the Oz bowlers get anything more out of it
