Dhoni dropped catch of Watson on 37 and paine on 0,Sehwag dropped Watson on 0, India lost the Toss, we collapsed in first innings after Sachin wicket... These are my excuses if we lose this match

If we lose the match, I know who I'm blaming...

The same people as always. The middle order. And the selectors by extension for sticking with the same failures again and again and again.

Sharma spell reminds me off Broad's 4th test spell in last year's Ashes so expect him to bowl a series winning spell next game.

Yeah generally poor cricket will cost you matches. Outrageous, I know.

Also, Zaheer - 8-137, WAFG.

You really have to be an Indian Supporter to appreciate how rare, good fast bowling performances at home are, for our fellas.

Reading into Smith's current FC bowling average is stupid. He has only played 16 FC matches, and that average has dropped considerably from something like 60 or worse. He clearly has good potential, as shown by his best bowling figures of 7/64.
Not as stupid as advocating dropping Hilfenhaus for Smith though. Whose idea was that? I don't think they entirely meant it/thought it through, whoever it was.

Not sure if you genuinely don't know who it was; hilarious if you don't though. :p

Don't know whose idea it was? As I said i never explicitly stated that. Maybe someone else did.

As it turns out Hilfenahus has done well in the second innings, but in his first innings figures of 100/0 are hardly impressive. No-one knows how good or bad Smith could have performed in this test. All I know however, is he could easily have provided some extra (and potentially crucial) runs to bolster our frail middle order.

It was the bloke you quoted in post 3013 when you brought it up. I don't think he's going to agree with you. :p
Yeah, just looked it up and saw it.

Lol that whole instance confused the **** out of me. Give me a break that was 400 posts ago

Hilf actually bowled fairly well in the first innings. His line was a little off but I had a feeling he would come through
