*Official* Australia in India 2010

I think India have done reasonably well to get Australia out for less than 450 with one bowler injured and after losing the toss on a pitch which was flat and very flat at the start of the match.
Watson dropped on 0
Paine dropped on 0
Ponting caught off a no-ball (reasonably early right)

Don't think so. We should have been out for a lot less.

why do people moan over dropped catches its as normal as batsman hitting a 4 to full wide half volley:dry:

Dhoni is having a mare.
Exactly so. With the gloves and as skipper.

Actually, is it me, but are captaincy standards at an all-time low just now? Been some cod-ordinary efforts in the series I've seen of late. Shakib is dire, Butt (even before the expose) looked a ball-follower, Dhoni looks totally passive, Punter has never been more than serviceable...

I don't think Strauss is any great shakes, but at least tries something else when plan A doesn't work, even if I suspect he's setting Flower's fields as often as not.

Bollinger will get Sehwag early here IMO. Either that or get absolutely carved through the off side and be dragged after three overs.

Bit of swing early on here for both bowlers.

Be good to jag a couple tonight.

Dougeh.

Edit: I should say I do hope Gambhir gets seriously injured here. Do not like that **** one bit.

Dougeh.

Dhoni's normally an excellent captain tbf.

Just got up, looks like a proper ****ing wicket-keeper's innings from Paine.

WTF didn't Bollinger bowl this full up here? 'Snot rocket science, is it? Ball swinging: fuller length.

Fast bowlers, eh?

been average for a while now.Agree with Brumby from the current lot only Smith and Vettori come across as proper tacticians.

Lovely shot from Sehwag there. DtR overpitches slightly and he creams it through the covers. Such an eye, the boy.

& again. Man's in touch, obvz.

Yeah, a little bit. It's strange how he's managed to lose form with regards to captaincy.
I'm sure his awful catching sort of interfered with his captaining brain.

Bollinger looks like a muppet. Sehwag either gets out soon, or takes him to the cleaners.

Cameraman following Watto a bit. F_or_S's gay Indian cousin, obvz.

Might be worth an early look at him before the shine's gone, IMHO.

MAN I cannot stand Gambhir the most boring batsmen of all times with the exception of Simon Katich, can you get off the freaking strike, let Sehwag bat for gods sake.

Freaking hate the way he tries to stylishly pose after playing an uncomfortable defensive bat hanging.

Nah, would say Cook is equally if not worse to watch than Katich. Gambhir is good to watch against the spinners.
