Australia's tail looks really capable of hanging in in Test cricket. That could be a vital factor in this series.
As always a lot depends on Sehwag. He can score quickly and do it effortlessly even on this slowish surface. Gambhir isn't in form. Dravid prefers the ball to come on to the bat, so does Laxman mostly. Tendulkar usually adapts but he's not going to take the game away in a session or two. He'll probably grind out atleast 50 but that's not going to be enough by itself unless we build partnerships all the way.Won't know for sure until the Indians bat but I do suspect a strong reply is likely. The pitch looks very, very flat.
Yeah he worked on his batting a lot when he was injured and couldn't bowl. Franklin syndrome, except he didn't forget how to bowl when he came back.Hilfenhaus' batting's improved in the last 6 months, doesn't look like a total bunny anymore
This pitch should really suit Raina. Laxman to get bowled for < 10.As always a lot depends on Sehwag. He can score quickly and do it effortlessly even on this slowish surface. Gambhir isn't in form. Backing Raina to do decently.
Yeah it could happen but VVS did well on a slow wicket at the PSS especially in the last innings so I hope that continues. This pitch should really suit Raina. Laxman to get bowled for < 10.
