*Official* Australia in India 2010

Clarke plays test innings in T20s and then tries to play a T20 knock in a test.

Not worthy of being on the cover of Australian GQ this month tbh
It was interesting to see him charge so many balls. I think you are doing him some injustice in calling it a T20 innings as it was to mainly smother spin. I kept yelling at the TV for the spinners to drop one short though and, he really struggled and eventually got out to it. India will have to pick Sreesanth for the next Test - it is a shame that India did not wish to give him a go in the Irani Trophy match, same for Munaf Patel, who is also a possible option for India replacement. The BCCI insist on giving guys like Unadkat and Yadav a go, despite the fact that they have zero chance of playing Test cricket in the near future for India.

He always does that. But he wasn't picking up any singles. Even against Zaheer, who he looked extremely comfortable against, he didn't pick up any.

Ishant Sharma screws up the Indian team again. India are really going to struggle with just one pace bowler. I would like to see Sehwag bowl a bit more though, when the spinners are given a rest.
Pretty sure the Aussies would love to see Sehwag bowl lots. The more the better.

As for Watto, been a gritty knock. If he gets to his ton, it'll be one he can really hang his hat on considering how much the spinners have bowled.

Would have really brought us back into this match if that Hussey edge in the last over had carried to Dravid.

Yes. Imo, the spinners are bowling genuinely very well. They are offering up little to hit. When they drop one short, the Aussies rock back and instantly look uncomfortable.

Haha I took your bet as well. Haven't even been thinking about that though, surprisingly.
Well I want to withdraw some of the money from my account but want a fair bit in there for gambling. Watto being set on a MOTM would help that out a great deal.

I've really loved watching this Watson innings, especially against the spinners. Such awesome technique.
Too right. From the first time I saw Watson bat in a domestic match in 2000 I loved his technique. Some players you just like, for me I dont like his personality at all, but I love his technique, how straight he plays, and the really correct way he plays through the V. Plus he murders anything short, his dismissive pull shots are great. The way he's taken to opening has been excellent to watch. He looks so solid, a joy to watch.
