What a surprise. Absolute morons.

The one thing that Pakistan are good at is death bowling. I know lets ****ing piss about and make that period as short and intense as possible. Because obviously we're going to smash 20 an over against them to make up for the way we ****ed about.

And be bowled trying something ambitious against Gul's first ball. Not much time for Wright to get his eye in.
Or the both in batsman getting out in the 40th and everyone else trying to slog and getting a.o for about 40 runs less than possible. Might as well let the 2 in form batsman get runs by milking and they're more likely to make a good fist of smashing it in the last few overs.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect England to have worked out that doing a Razzaq against Gul & Aktar bowling at the death isn't the smartest strategy. They're a tad better than Bresnan, in case anyone hadn't noticed.

Luke Wright is a bell end, who always seems to fail when he's needed,he's meant to be a hitter, but he's out of his depth, should be looking to rotate the strike, his firts few balls.

They weren't milking though. They'd dropped to 4 an over.

All they had to do was take the powerplay around late 30s or so and bat properly. Instead of 4 an over you score 5-6 an over and it stuffs up the plans. Do they now bowl Gul and Akhtar? Or do they risk someone else and keep them back for later. Either way you get bowling these muppets (Morgan aside) can attack.

Not sure why hes used as a slogger when hes quite clearly not upto it. Either he bats higher up the order or he shouldnt be in the side.

You wouldn't bet your house on either of them. tbf Wright batted well last Friday when everyone else apart from Morgan was busy disappearing without a trace
Except for the fact Bopara's already propelled us to a big score batting first twice this summer....
