Haha, don't have the same thing for Broad, as he does get on my nerves. I quite like him really, but I detest the way he starts celebrating an LBW before appealing sometimes, really annoys me. As does his look of outrage when one of his appeals is turned down.

I'm with KP on it. He was one of the best player in their T20 WC campaign. He's been judged by his test performances imo. Two very different sports :P

Totally agree. I think if England are looking to drop him then I would have waited to see how he did in the 2 T20Is coming up. You figure his last good performance was in the T20 WC, where arguably he was one of the leading forces in helping England win it. Having said that give him a chance to find that form again in a form of the game he seems to enjoy. Then let's see if he can bring that into the ODIs since it's another limited overs version. Better to give him international experience now while it lasts and then a month or two of training besides keeping him out of everything right up until the time they need him most: The Ashes.

Having said that I'm not too upset over his Tweet. The ECB can dismiss this one easily than that of his younger country man earlier this summer. KP is obviously distraught over his lack of performances but the other bloke was flat out venomous.

Having said all that he needs to be in the Ashes side no matter what.

Think KP and a part of the cricketing fraternity havent really wrapped their head around the logic behind his axing. The ECB has sent a clear message that the ODIs and t20s are pretty much meaningless not just in the context that preparation for the Ashes will take priority from here on in but also because of the cloud surrounding the series at the moment. Even if KP were to get in form during the series, it would only set him in one day mode and he would need once again to readjust to test cricket which he has been struggling for 2 years now. Furthermore hes more likely to get a meaningful bat in the CC than he is in the ODI/T20 series. Its actually very unlike the ECB to make a sensible decision but they have in this case and I'll give them props for it.
