I was agreeing with you... I think that it's just ******** that people see that and honestly think that the fielder could actually see definitively that it bounced/didn't bounce and wasn't just going off feel.

TBF, there was one of Clarke's vs NZ in an ODI when he was at square leg that was bad. He even got up and looked at the square leg umpire quizzically afterwards.

Dhoni's off Pietersen the worst of the lot though. Loved the way the entire Indian slips cordon maintained the appeal when the ball bounced a foot in front of him. Gold.

And of course there was the Strauss one last year off Phil Hughes that cost us the Ashes too.

Just ban them from international cricket. Maybe they'll wake the **** up then.

Yeah I'm not saying this is a good thing but it's just ****ing ridiculous atm. Harsh, drastic steps need to be taken for these issues to be addressed. A temporary ban from International cricket would wake them up and hopefully knock some sense in the admin. A drastic measure no doubt, but whats the point in watching them play when you'll be wondering if that particular deliver/wicket etc was fixed.

It's also particularly hurtful considering how exciting the Sydney test was.
