That's why the hawks can never be counted out. They just know how to beat the big teams on the big stage.

Sure, Collingwood has Didak out, but Hawks had Hodge out who is just such a big game player.
Yeah, no doubt, Didak is a big out for us, but Hodge is a huge out, much more pivotal for the Hawks that Dids is for us.

Well done to Josh Fraser on his 200th, and hopefully last game for Collingwood. People bag out my affection for Leigh Brown, but honestly "give a contest" Brown as some call him is streets ahead of "don't give a contest, don't take chest marks, and fall over when trying to ruck" Fraser that can you really blame me? In a way glad that we lost so there's less likely to be an appetite to retain him and Davis for next week. Davis wasn't at his worst, but we have better options. Will say that when I was watching Reid and Nathan Brown getting toweled up by the Hawks talls, was thinking that Leigh-dog would have been a useful option.

Bit worried about the guys, we've played six pretty **** quarters of football in the last two weeks - its not great form going into the finals. Hopefully this stings them back into focus a bit, and the Bulldogs given their injuries are just about the best chance you're ever going to get to find some form against a top four team in a final.

Franklin is scary when he turns it on. That fifty five meter goal that he casually slotted was amazing.

You'll smash us, I guarantee it. Our midfield basically consists of Boyd, Cross, an injured Griffen and Ward. That's not top four (or top eight, arguably). Add to that we have basically three genuine goal kicking options at the moment (two of which aren't likely to do much in finals), no crummers, no forward pressure and an out of form defence.

Ben Hudson can't do it all.

Pretty strange to start advertising all the finals matches before the season is over. Its still mathematically possible, though obviously not going to happen, that the 8 could change
