Its really sad that we kept going back to 30s and 40s and 60s hence so many good players from this era remained unpicked...

Trevor Goddard. Unbelievable that he's still available:

6. Trevor Goddard (LHB, 34.46 / LM, 26.22)
7. Warwick Armstrong (RHB, 38.68 / LBG, 33.59)
8. Syed Kirmani (+) (RHB, 27.04)
9. Peter Pollock (RHB, 21.67 / RF 24.18)
10. Andy Roberts (RHB, 14.94 / RF 25.61)
11. Joel Garner (RHB 12.44 / RF 20.97)

12. Tom Garrett (RHB 12.55 / RFM 26.94)

Think I've got a really fiercesome bowling line up there. Yes, the only spinner is Armstrong, but when you've got such a terrifying fast bowling attack, and very useful 2nd changes in Goddard and Kallis, I'm happy that taking 20 wickets is not going to be a problem. With Pollock at 9 and top class batting all the way down to 7, they're not going to be easy to dismiss either.

And, just in the nick of time, here comes JTRC with his final pick, which he currently has no idea about what to do.

So, tema Morbo's Disciples will, at the second attempt, select Ken Mackay. Pretty much all the really good players are gone, so he'll act as a twelfth man. He'll probably come in in some matches where a left-handed batsman might be advantage (unfortunately this side is all righties excpet for the No.11), so he'll do. Useful medium-pace option as well, to go with his noted obduracy with the bat.

Scorecard (sorry, cricinfo's down): http://www.cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/22/22851.html

Cowper's been picked lol.
That's the 3rd time somebody has tried choosing him.
And I've left already ftr.

honestbharani

Whatever it takes!!!
And, just in the nick of time...

For his final pick, Morbo's Disciples select Bob Cowper. As a left-hand bat, he will provide some variety to a hitherto exclusively right-handed top-order. His ability to bat for long periods of time is a vital asset, and he will also be able to contriubte as a fifth/sixth bowler if needed.
