Don't. I was taking the piss.I tip my hat to your cool and calmness, sir!.
Yeah. We were never going to get to a really competitive total after having two ducks in our top four, and with Hopkins, of all people, at six.We were 50 runs short in the end.
No real difference between 2-6 ranked teams.Reliance Mobile ODI Championship
1 Australia 132
2 India 116
3 South Africa 115
4 New Zealand 114
5 England 113
6 Sri Lanka 113
AWTA - all of it. I'm surprised at how McCullum is coming along actually. I thought he was an honest journeyman at best - but he has done pretty well.Yeah. We were never going to get to a really competitive total after having two ducks in our top four, and with Hopkins, of all people, at six.
Take nothing away from SL, though. Excellent performance from them and they totally deserved the win.
A few positives for us - Watling was impressive and I liked how he remained calm while wickets tumbled around him, McCullum was pretty good with both bat and ball, and Mills is back in top form.
SL are awesome given their limited resources (population, status of cricket, economy etc etc), no doubt about it. Right up with Australia, WI & NZ in that respect. At times like this, you contemplate a nation with a per capita income of 4.7k beating a nation with a per capita income of 29k. Sri Lanka are just a bit awesome.

I've seen this a few times now and yet have no idea what it means. Would anyone mind cluing me in on it?AWTA
I was lost a few times in the beginning as well. Figured it out after some thought.I've seen this a few times now and yet have no idea what it means. Would anyone mind cluing me in on it?
Lol, I am guessing you just read the headlines in that article.Well as I know practice wickets should be a sapmle of conditions of the actual wicket. In Dambulla it is juicy with bit of uneven bounce. I am not sure why Dhoni is whining over lack of flat practice wickets. This is SL after all, and we don't produce (or we don't have ability to produce, which ever makes you happy) flat wickets.
Maybe he just doesn't want another one of his pace bowlers to get injured. The pitches reportedly hadn't been mown and were damp, resulting in balls rearing up from a good length, and bowlers' run-ups weren't firm as well.
Perhaps they'll be able to find a different waterboy.Apparently Yuvraj is down with dengue!
Ha! Ha! good one!Perhaps they'll be able to find a different waterboy.
Yup, sucks for both India & NZ that SL are pretty much at full strengthlol.. how many more injuries do we need?
Dhoni - injured
Nehra - injured
Ishant - injured
Yuvraj - sick
Mithun - injured/sick
Karthik - injured
Why don't we just send all these guys home to recover and send out the replacements? Seriously, so what we put out a team that will be bashed by even the minnows... Gotta take care of the players, right?
Excuses, excuses..Yup, sucks for both India & NZ that SL are pretty much at full strength
