As for Jimmy, his record in OZ only relates to one series where he was coming back from stress fractures so his performances would always be a bit up and down. Did hit a nice groove late in the series in Sydney but was obviously still feeling his way a bit.

Yes and lets have Bresnan and Sidebottom open the bowling for England. Look even if Anderson has 1 good game out of 5 abroad, neither of those 2 are fit to tie his shoelaces at their respective bests. Until there are better options, theres no point considering this option.

Agreed. He has to play all Tests England play anywhere from now on. Right now, even if he's nullified a bit, he's still the best option.

We can criticise them loads, but Bangladesh so far are the only team this summer to have taken a Test played in England to a 5th day.

Yep totally.. As I said before..these Pakistani batsman would not make it to the Bangladeshi test side. Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddiqui and Mushfiqur Rahim are better players by a mile and a half.

As I've said before lot of times,don't expect any consistency in batting unless Salman Butt,Imran Farhat,Kamran Akmal,Shoaib Malik & Danish Kaneria are dropped forever from the side.And Muhammad"Flat Track Bully"Yousuf wouldn't be able to do much on these sort of wickets,if he plays next test.Pakistan need to change the batting lineup,management & whole PCB.

Bit of a fan of Sidebottom, he has more of an ability to adjust to different conditions from what i've seen as well, bit injury prone though isn't he ? What's the latest status ?
