*Official* Pakistan in England 2010

Look, the PCB are obviously jackasses. But the players are too blame as well.

Sure, if they're simply being outclassed, there's not much you can do.

But being bowled out for less than 100 twice in a row is a disgrace, and the players have to cop some flack for it as well. They're not showing heart, grit or determination.

Throwing in the towel in the first session of a test match.

I think it's time to stop with all the butt-related puns tbh. They're getting old. Makes reading most Pakistan related threads painful, and detracts from my enjoyment of reading about their players engaging slapstick mode.

You have the cheek to lecture people about puns? When you're usually first crack out of the box when it comes to stuff like this...

Out of these batsmen only Butt and Umar Akmal deserve to be in the team...if at all...

You need to bring in Fawad Alam, Yasir Hameed, Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Asim Kamal...these are quality batsmen with proper foot work against swing....

Yes the players should take the flack...but when you are playing a List A level team against a top class test unit, what do you expect....

PCB is to be blamed because they are the ones who created the mess....

The team they announced for NZ and Aus tour last year was the start of the disaster....in fact....the moment the likes of Malik/Akmal/Salman Butt revolted against Younis in the SL series and did not chase down 170 odd runs after being 1 down for 116...that is when PCB should have acted by banning these players forever.....but guess what they did the opposite they threw out YK and MoYo the best batsmen for Pak and kept Malik, Akmal, Butt.....Yes Salman had batted well against Aussies in tests..but he is not above the rules or law...he was also one of those players who went against YK.

It all started in SL....continued through NZ and Aus and now we are seeing the results in Eng as well......

I don't blame these batsmen at all...they are **** ...and every one knows they are ****....and only PCB the bunch of **** holes are responsible for this.... **** pcb **** butt **** mohsin **** all of these jokers!

This is beyond absurd; Bangladesh at least put up a fight against England. Two sub 100 innings in a row is just inexcusable at this level. I don't care how much the ball is swinging, and how good Anderson is bowling, the fact is that teams come to England every year and manage to post scores against swinging balls in overcast conditions.

Azhar Ali's innings was one of the worst I've seen by an international batsmen for some time now - I could have played it, and I would have done it in 30 fewer balls. And the fielding - are you kidding me? Are you actually kidding me? Farcical.

Stick to T20, boys.

**** you Pakistan.

People go how awesome it is seeing test cricket in England compared to the series in Sri Lanka (just because of one bad test wickt out of three)... but **** me when one team is so unbelievably crap compared to the other, it's hardly entertaining... even if the ball is swinging and England are bowling beautifully. Wickets (rather than runs, which we're used to) become meaningless

I was switching channels from the SL vs. Ind game to the Pak vs. Eng, and on three occaisons I switched back and Pak had lost another wicket. I had only changed the channel for 2 minutes.

Get some backbone Pakistan.
I would agree with this 100%, but since my team are the ones kicking arse, I will limit my agreement to 49%.

51% of me is really, really, really loving this.

Indeed, and let's face it we've suffered the reverse of this type of thing enough in the past. I also know it wont last, so I'm gonna enjoy it for the moment.

Jimmy Anderson, in form, in the right conditions, and against feeble opposition, is just about the best bowler I've ever seen. His ability to swing the ball both ways at a good pace is seven shades of awesome

We can criticise them loads, but Bangladesh so far are the only team this summer to have taken a Test played in England to a 5th day.

Even against good opposition in these conditions, he is one of the very best around. To swing the ball appreciably and late at good pace is a set of skills pretty difficult to neutralise, but he will always be judged on his performances when the going is not so good. This upcoming Ashes series may well be a defining moment for Jimmy.

Still not as good as Hoggard though as he could do it when the ball was swinging but also developed his game to become a dangerous bowler in conditions which didn't suit him.Until Anderson can do that i will always see Hoggard as a vastly superior bowler to Jimmy.
